Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Baron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mayor Hammertown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammertown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. mama said knock u out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the ring it seems that Robert Baron has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Robert Baron seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Baron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mayor Hammertown!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baron drives through with a takedown into Hammertown's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Baron drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Baron jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Baron trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hammertown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baron. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Baron thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Baron works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Baron wants to take a breather but Hammertown is having none of it.
Baron is working for a submission of some sort.
Baron is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hammertown doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Baron.

Hammertown gets back to full guard.
Baron thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Baron got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hammertown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Baron has managed to get both his arms back between Hammertown's legs - danger averted.
Baron drops back looking for a leg! Hammertown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hammertown manages to kick Baron off! Baron jumps back into Hammertown's guard.
Baron thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Baron is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hammertown is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hammertown has escaped and now he's on top!
Baron escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hammertown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hammertown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Baron manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baron tries to control but Hammertown wriggling away.
Baron looking to secure an arm triangle but Hammertown defends it well.

Baron wants to finish this one by submission but Hammertown is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Baron.
Baron goes for an armbar but Hammertown turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hammertown.
Baron manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Baron looking for a guillotine from mount but Hammertown is having none of it.
Hammertown has left one of his arms exposed and Baron doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Hammertown screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Robert Baron!
During a confident post fight interview, Robert Baron thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
