The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dael shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dael showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are battling for position here. Netto manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Netto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dael throws a strike but Netto rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Dael bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Netto's guard.
Netto keeping moving, preventing Dael from controlling successfully.

Netto working for a triangle but Dael defends it easily.
Dael slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Netto looking for a sweep but Dael has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Dael is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Netto can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

It looks like Walter Netto has been cut.
Netto bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Netto looking to sit in guard and control but Dael gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Dael throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Netto works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Dael advances to half guard.
Netto is trying to stand.
Netto is looking to control Dael's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Netto avoid being mounted?
Dael working over Netto with some ground and pound. Netto looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Netto looking for a triangle here. Dael is fighting it but it looks tight! Netto pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Dael is tapping out - this one is all over!
