Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Davison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Da Mian!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mian lands a jab-cross combination.
Davison throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Davison throws out a loose jab but Mian uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mian bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mian with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Mian drops his hands momentarily and Davison takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.


It looks like Da Mian has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Davison waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mian.

Mian looking to score a takedown here. Davison is defending well but Mian drives through and ends up in Davison's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mian wants to control from the top but Davison keeps moving.

Davison looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mian passes into side control.
Davison wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Mian thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mian just content to control the position.
Davison gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Mian is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Mian can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davison is looking to escape.

Davison is trying to stand up.

Davison defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Mian.
Davison tries to lock up and control but Mian gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Davison is trying to escape the mount.
Mian has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mian is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Davison to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Davison shrugs it off.
Mian breaks from Davison's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Mian has hold of Davison's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Davison manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mian lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Mian is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Mian!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Da Mian!
During a confident post fight interview, Da Mian thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
