The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Carlo.

No joy there for Carlo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lopez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carlo's guard.
Alberto Lopez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Carlo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lopez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lopez is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Carlo lets go of the hold and Lopez can pop his arm back in it's socket.
