Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kane Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wade kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is System of a down - This cocaine make me feel like I'm on this song. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kane Wade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a leg kick but Wade checks it.
Wade tries to keep at a distance but Johnson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wade taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Wade obliges.
Wade is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Johnson can't fight it off and eventually Wade manages to take the fight to the floor. Johnson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wade accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Wade chips away with some ground and pound.
Johnson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wade lands a couple of digs.
Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wade doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wade manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Wade has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wade stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wade lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Wade throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Johnson's body to avoid the submission. Johnson has instead reached around Wade's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Johnson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Josh Johnson!
Our winner, Josh Johnson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
