And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz misses the shot to the body.
Bomb misses with a looping right.
A telegraphed right hand from Ortiz misses the target.
Ortiz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ortiz throws a series of punches but Bomb moves out of range.
Ortiz throws a lazy right hand but Bomb sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bomb keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ortiz.
Ortiz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ortiz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bomb tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bomb throws a head kick but Ortiz moves out of range.
Bomb throws a sloppy head kick and Ortiz moves out of range easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Ortiz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ortiz just misses with a punch to the body.
Bomb lands a head kick!
It looks like Randy Ortiz has been cut.

Ortiz moves away from the strike by Bomb.

Ortiz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bomb was well out of range. Poor timing from Ortiz.
Ortiz is looking to wear down Bomb with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Bomb throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bomb looks for the body kick but Ortiz saw that one coming.
Ortiz loads up on a big right hand but Bomb slips the punch.
Bomb goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bomb throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bomb lands a high kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ortiz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bomb was well out of range. Poor timing from Ortiz.
Bomb lands with a kick to the ribs.
Bomb waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ortiz.
James Bomb is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bomb bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bomb fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ortiz is out of range.

Ortiz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ortiz tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Bomb is looking to regain half guard here but Ortiz keeps moving and retains side control.
Ortiz working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Ortiz trying to control the position but Bomb is working away.
An elbow from Ortiz crashes against the mat.
Ortiz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ortiz working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Ortiz throws a strike aimed at the side of Bomb's head but Bomb avoids it well.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Ortiz advances to mount.
Ortiz trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Ortiz with shots to the head and body - Bomb looks very uncomfortable down there.
Ortiz landing strikes from the mount and Bomb is in trouble!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bomb is in a horrible position here. Ortiz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bomb is rocked!

Ortiz loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Bomb scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ortiz land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ortiz stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Ortiz!
