Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen Eminem - Lose Yourself as his entrance music. Marshall Dickson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marshall Dickson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Davis!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dickson quickly recovers to half guard.
Davis wants to pass the guard but Dickson is defending well.

Davis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dickson defends it well.

Davis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dickson is just riding it out for now. Davis eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dickson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Davis.

Davis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dickson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Davis sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Davis is on top in guard.

Davis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dickson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Dickson is breathing heavily.
You can see the frustration on Dickson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Davis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dickson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Davis gets caught flat footed, as Dickson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Davis has hold of Dickson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dickson seems comfortable defending it but Davis has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dickson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dickson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Davis couldn't care less - he's delighted!
