The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan drives through with a takedown into Bugasto's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Khan stands and throws Bugasto's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Khan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bugasto pushes Khan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Khan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Khan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Bugasto wants to get back to his feet but Khan drags him back down.

Khan has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bugasto is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Khan yanks on the arm and Bugasto is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Khan.
