Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joey Poore!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Poore misses.
Sloppy strikes from Frost. Those never looked like landing.
Poore looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Frost lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Poore shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frost as he jumps to the side.

Poore wants to take a breather but Frost is having none of it.

Poore is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Frost is trying to escape back to his feet but Poore uses the scramble to pass into side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Poore is trying to get an arm triangle but Frost is defending well.
Frost stops Poore from passing to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Frost takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Frost lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Poore at a distance.
Poore is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Poore looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Frost is fending him off so far but Poore persists. Nope, Frost circles away and we're back to standing.
A punch lands to the side of Poore 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Frost dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Frost throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Frost lands a nice looking body shot.
Frost tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Poore was well out of range. Poor timing from Frost.
Frost smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Poore trying to control but Frost is working from the bottom.

Poore postures up in Frost's guard and throws a big left but Frost blocks it.

Poore drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Poore jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Poore wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving.

Poore distracts Frost with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Poore lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Poore sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Frost's guard.

Poore maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Frost could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Poore has cracked it and Frost is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Poore!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Joey Poore!
A less than humble Joey Poore misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
