The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickman chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McSweeney can pounce on him.
McSweeney tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hickman paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - McSweeney looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A nice inside leg kick there by McSweeney. That's going to slow Hickman down.

Hickman is trying to pull guard but McSweeney turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Hickman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McSweeney is working away from the top position though.

McSweeney moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Randall McSweeney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hickman shoots in and drives through. McSweeney sprawls well.

Hickman shoots in looking for a takedown but McSweeney manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hickman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hickman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McSweeney wants to stand but Hickman has his arm trapped.
Oh Hickman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

McSweeney has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Hickman gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
