Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Smitty Smithers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sui Hing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smithers's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ironman - Black Sabbath. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Smitty Smithers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sui Hing!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hing takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hing misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smitty Smithers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hing changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smithers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hing thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hing wants to control but Smithers is keeping him busy.
Hing is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smithers is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Smithers struggling a bit here.
Smithers tries to bench press Hing off him but Hing keeps the position.
Hing stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Smithers misses the jab.

Smithers lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Smithers thows a body shot but no joy.
Hing clinches.
Hing is pushing Smithers up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Hing manages to pull guard.
Hing working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smithers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Smithers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hing keeping moving, preventing Smithers from controlling successfully.
Hing bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Smithers's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hing pushes down on Smithers's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Hing controlling the pace.
Hing drops an elbow to the side of Smithers's head.
Hing wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smithers keeps working.

Smithers is concentrating on defense, preventing Hing from advancing position.
Smithers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hing on the ground.
Hing looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Smithers tries to kick Hing off in order to stand up. Hing Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Hing decides to stand back up.
Hing throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smithers fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hing on the side of the head.
No luck for Hing with that takedown attempt.

Hing gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Smithers misses with a right hand
and Hing finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hing misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smithers stuffs the takedown.
Smithers tries to score with a low kick but Hing moves his leg out of the way.
Hing takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Smithers clobbers Hing with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Smithers keeps the fight on the outside.
Smithers misses with a left hand
and Hing counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Smithers is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Hing tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Smithers is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hing fails with the takedown
and Smithers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Smitty Smithers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sui Hing.
Smithers throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sui Hing will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Smithers on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smithers tries to get out of the position.

Hing in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Smithers tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hing wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hing seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Smithers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hing works his foot free and advances to mount.

A close second round but Sui Hing will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Smithers throws a hook to the side of Hing's head but Hing sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Smithers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hing thinking.
Hing shoots in looking for a takedown. Smithers tries to sprawl out of it but Hing keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smithers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Smithers tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hing drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Smithers gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Sui Hing is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hing takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hing has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Smithers.
Smithers cracks Hing with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Smithers throws the left hand but Hing avoids the punch easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hing is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Smithers gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Sui Hing is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Smithers.
And that's the end of the fight!
Smitty Smithers showed his dominance in that final round.
