Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesse Bashor!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bashor slips a jab and a cross from Monthan.
Bashor swats away the attempt to clinch by Monthan.
Monthan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Monthan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Monthan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Monthan holds on and takes a little breather.
Bashor passes Monthan's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bashor thows a huge punch but Monthan dodges it nicely.
Monthan tries to kick Bashor off but Bashor keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Bashor throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Monthan to regain full guard.
Bashor pushes down on Monthan's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Monthan is trying to maintain the position but Bashor is very close to passing his half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bashor connects with a nice short shot to Monthan's temple.
Bashor takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bashor passes to full mount!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bashor throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Monthan wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bashor.
Bashor misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Monthan takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Bashor's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
