Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buck Bradshaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lance Slater! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slater checks the leg kick. Slater fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bradshaw. Bradshaw tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slater paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bradshaw looks to land a right hand but Slater moved out of range. Slater gets in close and instigates a clinch. Slater drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bradshaw pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bradshaw misses with a head kick.

Bradshaw shoots in and drives through. Slater sprawls well. Slater shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Slater showed some decent athleticism there. Bradshaw is trying to get back to full guard. Slater is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's one minute gone in the round. Slater throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Slater seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. That's two minutes gone in the round. Bradshaw keeping moving, preventing Slater from controlling successfully. Slater won't allow Bradshaw to sweep him here. Bradshaw working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slater doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slater manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Slater cracks Bradshaw with a solid left hand. Slater distracts Bradshaw with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Slater wants to pass the guard but Bradshaw is keeping the position. Bradshaw looking to control.

Bradshaw lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Slater! Slater can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slater wants to hold on but Bradshaw pushes him away. Bradshaw is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Slater can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
A nice elbow there by Bradshaw. Slater tries to hold on but Bradshaw pushes him away. Slater is bucking up trying to escape but Bradshaw cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Slater can't escape the position.
Slater really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bradshaw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bradshaw looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Bradshaw is in the full mount, landing strikes. Bradshaw is breathing heavily. Slater tries to lock up and control but Bradshaw gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bradshaw has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bradshaw looking to control but Slater is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bradshaw prevents Slater from getting the reversal. Slater is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slater is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bradshaw has hold of Slater's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Slater manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

A head kick misses from Bradshaw. Slater stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bradshaw. Slater shoots and misses and Bradshaw counters with a flying knee. Nice. Slater shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bradshaw counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bradshaw drops an elbow to the side of Slater's head. Slater regains full guard. Nicely done. Bradshaw won't allow Slater to sweep him here. Bradshaw postures up.
Slater looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bradshaw lands a couple of decent looking shots. Slater is pulling down on Bradshaw's head to control his posture. Bradshaw sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Slater's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slater is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bradshaw scores with a couple of nice shots. Bradshaw takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Slater trying to control from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Slater can do anything to dispel that myth. Slater wants to get back to full guard. Bradshaw winds up and cracks Slater with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bradshaw takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bradshaw is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Bradshaw thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Slater throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Bradshaw manages to pass to side control. Slater is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bradshaw off and has taken his back! Bradshaw covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Slater is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Bradshaw has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Slater doesn't have the hooks in and Bradshaw manages to turn into his guard.

Bradshaw pushes down on Slater's leg and manages to get into half guard. Slater tries to get to full guard but Bradshaw has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slater makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slater. Bradshaw preventing the sweep.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bradshaw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Slater doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bradshaw counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Slater's guard now. Buck Bradshaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Slater. Slater has his foot on Bradshaw's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bradshaw works his way back into a safe position though. Slater looking for a sweep. Not yet Slater, not yet. Slater trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Slater working for submissions but it's allowed Bradshaw to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bradshaw lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Slater tries to roll over but Bradshaw keeps him under control. Buck Bradshaw overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Slater shoots in and bounces Bradshaw off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Slater trying to control the position from guard on top but Bradshaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Slater is pushing down on Bradshaw's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bradshaw is fighting to maintain full guard but Slater has managed to sneak the leg through. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slater is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Slater uses his free foot to push down on Bradshaw's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bradshaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Buck Bradshaw dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Slater tries for a takedown but Bradshaw sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bradshaw connects with a solid leg kick. Slater misses with a takedown and Bradshaw counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bradshaw wants to pass the guard but Slater is keeping the position. Bradshaw connects with a couple of short punches. Slater wants to sweep but no luck. Slater is trying to hold Bradshaw in close to prevent damage but Bradshaw has managed to pass into half guard.
Bradshaw is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Slater is just riding it out for now. Bradshaw eventually gives up the hold. Slater tries to roll over but Bradshaw keeps him under control. Slater takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slater wants to control but Bradshaw is keeping busy.
Bradshaw lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Slater trying to control from the bottom.
Bradshaw seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Bradshaw winds up and cracks Slater with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bradshaw connects with a nice short shot to Slater's temple. Bradshaw is tying to control. Slater wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Slater throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Slater is rocked! Bradshaw passes to full mount! Bradshaw putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Slater is in a horrible position here. Bradshaw smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Slater is still in real trouble! Can Bradshaw finish him? Slater keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bradshaw has isolated one of Slater's arms. Slater looking to fight him off but Bradshaw twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
