Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeMarcus Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Potato Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Roy Jones Jr.- Cant Be Touched. The crowd seem to be enjoying Khan's choice of entrance music: Meatloaf - The Monster Is Loose. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wright at a distance.
Wright moves in looking to clinch but Khan pushes him off.
Wright shoots in for a takedown but Khan shows good takedown defense.
Wright wants to clinch up but Khan keeps it at a distance.
Wright tries to clinch but Khan is having none of it.
Khan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Wright wants to control but Khan postures up.
Khan tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wright's legs.
Wright is trying to control Khan's posture but Khan avoids it.
Khan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Wright tries to buck Khan off but Khan is having none of it.

Wright is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Khan off and has taken his back!
Khan tries to break free.
Wright trying to control momentarily.

Wright controls the action.
Wright tries to get the hooks in deep but Khan pushed the leg off.
Khan rolls, trying to escape but Wright keeps control of the position.
Wright doesn't have the hooks in and Khan manages to turn into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Khan wants to control from the top but Wright keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Khan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Khan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Wright is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Wright and Khan has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Wright is trying to get back to his feet.
Khan tries to move to mount but Wright blocks the move with his legs.
Khan in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Wright bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
DeMarcus Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khan tries to land a front kick but Wright steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Wright fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wright sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Khan to the ground! Wright dives into full mount looking to finish!
Khan is rocked!
Wright is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Khan is still on wobbly legs! Can Wright finish him?
Wright is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wright shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Khan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Khan.
Wright is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan looking to sit in guard and control but Wright gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Khan seems to have recovered his senses.
Khan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Khan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wright manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wright is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Khan advances position into side control!
Khan tries to score with some ground and pound. Wright controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Khan goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wright rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Khan's guard! Nice work there by Wright!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Khan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wright doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wright manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wright tries to clinch but Khan moves away
and Khan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Khan moves into the clinch.
Khan wants a takedown.
Wright crunches a lovely knee into Khan's ribcage.
Wright tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Khan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Wright landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Wright unloads a knee to the mid-section. Khan lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Khan tries to pull guard but Wright holds him up against the cage and eventually Khan drops back down to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Khan wants to stall.
Wright is looking to control Khan's arms but Khan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wright has his back to the cage.
Wright looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Wright lands a knee to the head.
Khan blocks the elbow strike.
Wright tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wright with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Wright wants to stall.
Khan wants a takedown but no success here.
DeMarcus Wright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Potato Khan.

Khan is working for takedown but Wright is calmly controlling the position for now.
Khan blocks an elbow strike from Wright.
Wright breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Khan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Wright wants to control but Khan is having none of it.
Khan has hold of Wright's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wright manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Khan mounts Wright! Really nice guard pass there!
Khan pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Khan tries to control but Wright wriggling away.

Wright tries to hold on but Khan postures up.
Khan looking to ground and pound but Wright is blocking nicely.
Potato Khan has got the better of the ground game so far.
Khan with shots to the head and body - Wright looks very uncomfortable down there.
Wright tries to lock up and control but Khan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Khan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wright is looking to escape.
Khan goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Wright turns into him and now he's in Khan's guard.

Khan is looking for a triangle but Wright pushes his legs off easily.

Wright wants to control but Khan is keeping him busy.
Khan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wright's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wright's back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
