Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Catalin Botezatu!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Botezatu tries to clinch there but Da Silva circles away.
Da Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Botezatu.
Da Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Botezatu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Da Silva somewhat.
Botezatu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Da Silva circles away.
Da Silva avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Botezatu fails with a takedown attempt.
Botezatu misses with a body shot.
Botezatu shoots in and drives through. Da Silva sprawls well.
Marco Da Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Catalin Botezatu.

Da Silva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Botezatu.

and Botezatu counters by moving into the clinch.
Da Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Botezatu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Da Silva but Da Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Da Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Da Silva counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Da Silva tries to keep at a distance but Botezatu has taken the fight into the clinch.
Da Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A nice combination there by Da Silva.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Botezatu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Da Silva is fending him off so far but Botezatu persists. Nope, Da Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Botezatu fails with a takedown attempt.
Da Silva moves into range and clinches up with Botezatu.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Da Silva manages to break the clinch.
Da Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Botezatu is looking to clinch but Da Silva is avoiding it.
A jab from Da Silva finds it's way through Botezatu's defenses.
Botezatu is rocked!
That has opened up Catalin Botezatu's cut even more.
Da Silva moves into the clinch.
Botezatu is still on wobbly legs! Can Da Silva finish him?
Da Silva manages to break the clinch.
Da Silva with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Da Silva feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Botezatu crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Marco Da Silva!
A less than humble Marco Da Silva misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
