Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shawn Geissen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dimas Boykiy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geissen throws a big shot that misses.
Boykiy throws a series of strikes that have Geissen backpedaling.
It looks like Shawn Geissen has been cut.
A swing and a miss from Geissen.
Geissen missing with a left hand there. Boykiy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Boykiy drives through and clinches with Geissen against the cage.
Boykiy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boykiy lands a left and a right that send Geissen crashing to the mat, dazed. Boykiy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Geissen is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boykiy throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Geissen crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dimas Boykiy!
As Dimas Boykiy got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Are you not entertained?'.
