Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lloyd Budgell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Salazar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Antistar (by Massive Attack). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lloyd Budgell! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.

A clash of legs there as Budgell blocks the low kick. Salazar throws a right and a left that both miss. Salazar throws a leg kick but Budgell checks it. Budgell has a takedown stuffed. Salazar's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Salazar duly obliges.

Budgell is rocked! A punch combination from Salazar misses. Budgell is still on wobbly legs! Can Salazar finish him? Budgell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Salazar.
Salazar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Salazar dances in with a quick combination. Budgell is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Salazar snaps Budgell's head back. Budgell stumbles backwards against the cage. Salazar steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Budgell's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Budgell just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Robbie Salazar!
