Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schillaci fails to land the takedown.
Brohan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schillaci swivels and escapes.
Schillaci shoots in but no luck this time.
Schillaci shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brohan pinned against the cage. Brohan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Brohan has taken the fight to the clinch.

Brohan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schillaci. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brohan gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Schillaci is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brohan has managed to free his arm - good work.

Schillaci is looking for a kimura but Brohan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Schillaci to get the leverage.
Brohan scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Schillaci manages to mount him!

Schillaci lands a big shot there that rocks Brohan but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Brohan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schillaci swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brohan lands with a nice combination. Schillaci backs away looking to recover.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daryl Schillaci.
I think Schillaci has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
