Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kazuki Kobayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kobayashi comes to the cage accompanied by Mars - The Bringer of War. Maxwell Hardy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobayashi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hardy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hardy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hardy throws a wild body kick that Kobayashi sees coming a mile off.
Kobayashi tried to score with a low kick but Hardy checks it.
Hardy clobbers Kobayashi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Kobayashi closes the distance and clinches.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Hardy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kobayashi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hardy's brow.
Hardy takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Maxwell Hardy has been cut.

Hardy tries to stall but Kobayashi uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hardy makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Hardy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kobayashi backwards.
Kobayashi lands a good knee to the midsection. Hardy won't want to take too many of those.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hardy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hardy buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

and Hardy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Hardy drops Kobayashi with a huge uppercut! Kobayashi drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Hardy is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
