Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takeda's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fort Minor-Kenji. Josh Barnett will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Takeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Josh Barnett!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barnett stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barnett wants it to stay on the feet.
Barnett throws a sloppy head kick and Takeda moves out of range easily.
Takeda dives in and scores a takedown into Barnett's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Barnett has momentary wrist control but Takeda slips an elbow through the middle.
Takeda will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Takeda drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Takeda seems to have locked his on tight now - Barnett screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Takeda, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Shinji Takeda!
Shinji Takeda decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
