Selassie I has chosen Jah Army as his entrance music. Haile Selassie I is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson instigates a clinch.
Anderson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Anderson jumps guard but Selassie I stands there with Anderson around his waist. Anderson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Anderson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Anderson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Selassie I to keep the fight standing.
Selassie I tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Selassie I scores with a nice hook to the head.
Selassie I fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Nice body punch from Selassie I.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Anderson.
Selassie I avoids the elbow strike from Anderson, against the cage.

Anderson content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Anderson gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Selassie I is trying to get back to full guard.
Selassie I is trying to maintain the position but Anderson is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderson looks to land a strike but Selassie I avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Selassie I looking to control.
Selassie I tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Selassie I is working an open guard so Anderson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Anderson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Anderson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Selassie I lands an overhand right.
Anderson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Selassie I connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Selassie I gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Anderson counters with a three punch combo that has Selassie I backing up. Selassie I nods at Anderson to acknowledge the strikes.
Selassie I jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Selassie I misses with a looping left.
Selassie I scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Anderson is rocked!
Selassie I has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Selassie I throws a push kick but Anderson slaps the foot to one side.
Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anderson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Anderson seems to have got his legs back now.
Selassie I blocks a head kick by Anderson.
Selassie I tests Anderson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Anderson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Selassie I manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Anderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Anderson moves to clinch but Selassie I breaks away
and Selassie I cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Selassie I cracks Anderson with a hook to the temple - Anderson is on wobbly legs here! Selassie I swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Anderson falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Selassie I wins by TKO!
