The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qushairy tries for a takedown but Scarborough circles away easily
and Scarborough counters with a straight right hand.
Qushairy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Scarborough on his heels. He'll look to pass Scarborough's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Qushairy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Qushairy slips nicely into half guard.
Qushairy seems to be working for a kimura but Scarborough defends the submission attempt.
Qushairy is working for a kimura but Scarborough is defending it quite comfortably.
Qushairy is looking for a kimura but Scarborough is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Qushairy to get the leverage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Qushairy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

In his post fight interview, Fitry Qushairy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
