Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Craig Christ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Bhuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Christ might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stephen Lynch - Craig. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sammy Bhuda was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bhuda clobbers Christ with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nice shot by Christ.
A punch combination from Bhuda misses.
Bhuda avoids the head kick by Christ.
Bhuda looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bhuda is trying hard to land a takedown here. Christ sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nice body punch from Christ.
Christ lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Christ moves into range and clinches up with Bhuda.
Christ tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bhuda avoids it.

Craig Christ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christ ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bhuda moves away.
An inside leg kick lands from Christ.
Christ throws a hook but Bhuda avoids it easily.
Bhuda throws a chopping leg kick but Christ manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Christ digs a good hook to Bhuda's body.
Bhuda fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Christ tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bhuda fails to land with a series of punches.
Christ misses with a shot to the body
and Bhuda counters with a left to the body.
Bhuda has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Christ.
Christ throws a head kick that misses.
Bhuda throws the left hand but Christ avoids the punch easily.
Bhuda throws a front kick aimed at Christ's knee but Christ avoids it well.
Bhuda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Christ pinned against the cage. Christ gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Christ counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Bhuda throws a looping overhand right but Christ ducks down to avoid it.
Christ fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bhuda goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Christ connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Sammy Bhuda has been cut.
A slow jab from Christ misses its intended target.

Nice uppercut lands for Christ. That snapped Bhuda's head back.

Bhuda is rocked!
Bhuda walks straight into a right hand from Christ - that's dropped him! Christ jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bhuda from any more punishment! Bhuda complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Craig Christ!
After winning the bout, Craig Christ thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
