The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Turner.
Ruthless closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ruthless lands in his opponent's guard.
Ruthless is in close to Turner's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Turner is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Turner can't keep his opponent in guard - Ruthless advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ruthless is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turner is just riding it out for now. Ruthless eventually gives up the hold.
Ruthless throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
