Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fesenko takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

A decent looking cross lands there for Knitter.
Knitter misses with a hook.
Lutz Knitter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fesenko is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Knitter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fesenko moves away.

Knitter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fesenko backwards.

Fesenko throws an elbow but it misses.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Knitter.

Fesenko seems to have recovered his senses.
Knitter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fesenko counters by moving into the clinch.
Fesenko throws an elbow but it's blocked.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Knitter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fesenko has him pressed against the ropes.
Knitter lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fesenko backwards.
Knitter tries to stall but Fesenko uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Fesenko throws an elbow but it misses.
Knitter pushes Fesenko against the ropes. Knitter is working some dirty boxing. Knitter pushes off with a quick right hook! Fesenko goes down! Fesenko tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Knitter moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lutz Knitter!
