Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vak Yoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Like to Move It. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeru Kyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vak Yoo! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoo thuds a left hand into Kyle's body. Yoo throws a head kick that misses. Kyle throws out a powerful jab. Kyle takes a kick to the side of the head. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kyle.
Kyle misses the jab. Yoo lands with a good body shot. Kyle looks to score with a jab to the body but Yoo is just out of range. Kyle jabs Yoo right on the nose. Yoo blinks but takes it well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kyle throws a looping overhand right but Yoo ducks down to avoid it. Yoo throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kyle counters with a nice body kick. Yoo pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Yoo looks gassed! Kyle jabs Yoo right on the nose. Yoo blinks but takes it well. Yoo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yoo wants it to stay on the feet. Kyle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Yoo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyle throws out a loose jab but Yoo uses good head movement to avoid it. Kyle scores with a hook to the body. Yoo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kyle darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Vak Yoo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Yoo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Good shot there by Kyle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kyle scores with a decent looking hook. Yoo avoids the head kick by Kyle.
Kyle fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Yoo. Kyle scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kyle works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Kyle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Yoo, who protects the arm well. Kyle is chipping away with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyle misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kyle working the head with strikes. Kyle working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Kyle is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Yoo has escaped the position, nice work there. Sloppy strikes there by Kyle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yoo managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Kyle.

Kyle has hold of Yoo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Yoo seems comfortable defending it but Kyle has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Yoo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Yoo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kyle couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Takeru Kyle! After the fight, Takeru Kyle was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
