Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pootie Tang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tang's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Shine your pitty on the runny kine. Tang has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Pootie Tang could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Cole's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pootie Tang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Cole! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tang shoots for a double leg takedown but Cole sprawls well. He's pushed Tang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tang is breathing heavily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Cole. Cole trying to control the action but Tang is working from the bottom. Tang tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cole wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cole wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tang keeps working. Cole is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tang has escaped the position, nice work there. Cole taking a breather here. Cole tries to stand but Tang is controlling his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tang tries to keep at a distance but Cole has taken the fight into the clinch. Cole breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cole closes the distance and clinches. Tang tries to pull guard but Cole holds him up against the cage and eventually Tang drops back down to his feet.
Cole manages to break the clinch.
Cole connects with a single shot there. Pootie Tang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cole shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cole showed some decent athleticism there. Cole wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tang keeps working. Tang won't allow Cole to pass to mount. Tang gets back to full guard.
Cole really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole trying to control the position from guard on top but Tang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tang on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tang tries to get out of the position. Tang looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cole tries to stand but Tang is controlling from the bottom. Tang manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cole manages to get himself to full guard.
Cole is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tang with a nice head shot there. Tang is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Tang pushes down on Cole's leg and manages to get into half guard. Cole is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tang working the head and body with strikes. Cole tries to get to full guard but Tang has control of the leg. Cole has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tang is working away from the top position though. Cole is trying to stand back up but Tang is controlling him
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cole throws a series of punches but Tang moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cole closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Cole has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tang is trying to keep an underhook but Cole manages to get the takedown into half guard. Tang punching from the bottom.
Cole content to control rather than advance. Cole wants to pass to mount but Tang is defending the position. Tang wants to improve his position but Cole is controlling well.
Cole missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Tang is refusing to be controlled, as Cole sits in half guard. Tang is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Cole dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cole fails with a takedown attempt. Tang misses with a takedown and Cole counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cole. Cole stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tang swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cole tries to stand but Tang is controlling from the bottom. Tang wants to sweep but no luck. Tang is working hard here to advance position. Cole wants to stand but Tang has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cole in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tang looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cole throwing strikes from guard but Tang blocks nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cole tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tang swivels and escapes. Tang has his takedown stuffed and Cole decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tang's guard. Cole in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Cole trying to control but Tang is working from the bottom. Cole pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tang is keeping the position for now. Cole trying to control but Tang is working from the bottom. Tang bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cole's guard. Cole is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tang postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Tang postures up in Cole's guard and throws a big left but Cole blocks it. Tang preventing the sweep. Cole is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tang is controlling him. Cole is pulling down on Tang's head to control his posture. Tang makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. John Cole has got the better of the ground game so far. Tang missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cole looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tang chips away with some ground and pound. Tang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cole utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tang working some strikes from top position. Cole is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tang works over Cole with some ground and pound from guard. Cole trying to keep a closed guard but Tang is proving a slippery customer.
Cole is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cole pulls Tang in close to his closed guard and prevents Tang from doing any damage or advancing position. Cole wants to stand up but Tang is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tang postures up and lands a big shot to Cole's brow. Cole wants to stand up but Tang is controlling him. Cole controlling the position. Cole throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Tang trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cole wriggles free and stands up. Tang takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Cole scores a takedown into full mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tang sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Cole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Cole fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tang sprawls well initially but Cole persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tang avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cole. Cole stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Cole shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cole showed some decent athleticism there. Tang is looking to improve his position.

Cole loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tang can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cole controls the pace. Cole wants to control from the top but Tang keeps moving. Cole throwing strikes but missing. Cole with a flurry of punches that miss.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Tang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cole pinned against the cage. Cole gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tang avoids the head kick by Cole.

Tang misses with a hook. Cole ducked under it nicely. Tang shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cole as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pootie Tang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tang checks a leg kick nicely. Cole darts in and clinches Tang up against the cage. Cole has Tang pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Cole pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tang tumbling to the mat - Cole dives into Tang's guard. Cole is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Tang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tang working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cole. Cole with a flurry of punches that miss. Cole looking to pass the guard. Tang trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Pootie Tang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cole wants to control from the top but Tang keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! John Cole comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cole has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
