Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jett Jaggers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaggers tries to close the distance and clinch but Davis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Davis walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jaggers checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jaggers tries to land a front kick but Davis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jaggers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jaggers blocks a low kick nicely.
A big right from Jaggers misses.
Jaggers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Davis walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jaggers checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Davis connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A punch combination from Jaggers misses.
Davis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jaggers circles away quickly and effectively.
Jaggers connects with a solid leg kick.
A slow jab from Jaggers misses its intended target.
Davis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jaggers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jaggers scores with a body shot.
Davis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jaggers at a distance.
Davis tries to clinch there but Jaggers circles away.
Davis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jaggers. Jaggers circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jaggers connects with a jab.
Jaggers looks to score with a jab to the body but Davis is just out of range.

Davis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jaggers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Joe Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jaggers misses with a lunging right hand
and Davis counters with a low kick, right behind Jaggers 's knee.
Jaggers attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Davis throws out a leg kick but Jaggers moves out of range and Davis only half commits.
Davis cracks the inside of Jaggers's front leg.
Davis wants to land a leg kick but Jaggers is out of range.
Jaggers lands with a thumping leg kick.
No joy there for Jaggers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Davis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Davis slips under a jab.
Jaggers checks a leg kick nicely.
Jaggers throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A lazy left from Davis finds it's target.
Jaggers feints and then cracks Davis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Davis down.
Jaggers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davis.
Davis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jaggers wants to stand up but Davis is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jaggers preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Davis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Davis advances position into side control!
Jaggers is trying to buck Davis off.
Davis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jaggers keeps working.
Davis creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Davis prevents Jaggers from escaping the position.
Jaggers is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Davis is working Jaggers over with some ground and pound from side control.
Davis scores with a couple of short elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davis lands a decent elbow from side control.
Davis looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jaggers is avoiding damage well.

Jaggers is trying to buck Davis off.

Jaggers sneaks back into half guard.
Davis wants to take a breather but Jaggers is having none of it.

Davis is just content to waste time from the top position. Jaggers takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Davis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jaggers to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Davis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jaggers pulls down on the head and he's put Davis to sleep! This one is all over!
