Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ozzy Stanton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nadi Tsunami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stanton might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Start A War by Static-X. Nadi Tsunami has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ozzy Stanton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nadi Tsunami! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsunami tries to sprawl but Stanton drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Stanton missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Stanton with the ground and pound but Tsunami uses the opportunity to regain guard. Stanton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Tsunami controls Stanton momentarily but Stanton frees himself. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Tsunami is looking to stand up but Stanton isn't so interested in that idea. Tsunami pulls Stanton in close to prevent any damage. Tsunami is looking for a triangle but Stanton pushes his legs off easily.
Stanton with a flurry of punches that miss. Stanton working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tsunami's head. Tsunami has his feet on Stanton's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tsunami lands a nice looking body shot.
Tsunami darts in and clinches Stanton up against the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsunami has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Stanton is trying to keep an underhook but Tsunami manages to get the takedown into half guard. Stanton wants to control but Tsunami is keeping busy.
Tsunami trying to control from half guard but Stanton is working away. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Stanton wants to control but Tsunami is keeping busy.
Stanton tries to roll over but Tsunami keeps him under control. Stanton is concentrating on defense, preventing Tsunami from advancing position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Tsunami is trying to control the action in half guard but Stanton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Ozzy Stanton wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Tsunami fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Stanton to the ground. Tsunami is now in Stanton's guard. Tsunami lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanton wants to stand and escape but Tsunami is having none of it. Stanton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tsunami on the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stanton is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Stanton looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tsunami puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Stanton is looking to improve his position.
Tsunami is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Tsunami is looking for a kimura here.
Stanton is trying to stand back up but Tsunami is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsunami is taking a breather. Stanton says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Tsunami passes the guard and advances to mount! Tsunami working for a guillotine from mount but Stanton is in no mood to give up. Stanton working to try and regain half guard.
Tsunami trying to control but he's not successful this time. Tsunami with the ground and pound from mount. Stanton bucks Tsunami off and manages to get back to his feet! Tsunami looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stanton is fending him off so far but Tsunami persists. Nope, Stanton circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tsunami scores with a body shot.
Tsunami drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tsunami not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Stanton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tsunami is controlling him. Tsunami is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tsunami prevents Stanton from getting back to his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Stanton looking to control.
Nadi Tsunami has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Tsunami misses with a low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nadi Tsunami dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Tsunami darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Stanton tries to roll over but Tsunami keeps him under control. Tsunami stops Stanton from getting back to his feet.
Stanton trying to get back to full guard but Tsunami takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Tsunami looking to control but Stanton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tsunami is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The referee warns Stanton that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Tsunami controlling the pace for now. Tsunami avoids the attempt from Stanton to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsunami looking to control but Stanton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tsunami looking to control and managing it successfully. Stanton is just holding on here. Tsunami manages to take his back.
Stanton is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Tsunami really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Stanton. Stanton is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Tsunami gets his way!
Stanton looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tsunami controls the action. Stanton trying to get back to his feet but Tsunami is in full control for now. Tsunami is working for a rear naked choke. Stanton is not defending it well and Tsunami has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Stanton refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Stanton's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Nadi Tsunami!
