The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Alves moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Costa gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Alves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Alves throws a head kick but Costa moves out of range.

Costa closes the distance and clinches.
Costa keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Alves's efforts to push away.

Alves tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Alves is trying to force a seperation but Costa has the dominant position.
Alves wants to get back to striking at distance but Costa won't allow it.

Alves breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
