Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Suez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker comes to the cage accompanied by The Rapture - Echos. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tobias Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rafael Suez! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker tries for a takedown but Suez circles away easily and Suez counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Walker's guard now. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Walker lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Suez! Suez is in all sorts of trouble here.
Suez wants to control but Walker is having none of it. Walker wants to control the pace but Suez is squirming around nicely. Walker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Suez wants to hold on but Walker pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suez tries to get back to half guard but can't. Walker looking to control but Suez is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Suez can't escape the position.
Suez is squirming around, avoiding Walker's attempts to control the action. Walker is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Suez has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Suez wants to hold on but Walker pushes him away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Walker moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Suez has worked his arm free - good work by Suez!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker taking a break here but Suez is having none of it and regains half guard. Walker is trying to control the action in half guard but Suez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Suez wants to sweep but Walker has passed to side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Suez, who protects the arm well. Suez tries to buck Walker off but Walker is having none of it. Suez sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Walker prevents Suez from improving his position. Suez with the active half guard here but Walker passes nicely into side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Suez, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rafael Suez dominated that round. That's time! Walker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Suez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Walker's head backwards. Walker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Suez counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Suez trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Suez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Suez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Walker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Suez has Walker in his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker wants to control from the top but Suez keeps moving. Suez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Walker wants to control from the top but Suez keeps moving. Suez has his foot on Walker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Walker works his way back into a safe position though.

Walker is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Suez is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Suez has escaped and now he's on top! Suez looking to sit in guard and control but Walker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Walker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Suez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walker has managed to get both his arms back between Suez's legs - danger averted. Rafael Suez has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walker trying to control but Suez is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rafael Suez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Suez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Walker to the mat! Walker manages to get full guard. Walker looking for a guillotine here but Suez defends easily.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Suez is looking to get back to full guard here but Walker has managed to pass to side control instead. Walker won't allow Suez to sweep him here. Suez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Walker is aware though and is defending well. Suez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Walker is one step ahead there. Walker sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Suez looking for a sweep. Not yet Suez, not yet. Tobias Walker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rafael Suez is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Suez looking to control.
Walker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Suez pulls Walker in to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker wants to control from the top but Suez keeps moving. Suez controls Walker momentarily but Walker frees himself. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Suez preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Suez pulls Walker in close to his closed guard and prevents Walker from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rafael Suez. Suez scores with a sloppy right hand. Walker should have avoided that one.
And that's the end of the fight! Rafael Suez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Suez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
