Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Heinrich Speer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Berting Araw! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Speer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Araw. Speer fails in his attempt to clinch. Araw is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Berting Araw has been cut. Araw tries a low kick but Speer avoids it. Araw staying out of range there. Speer checks the leg kick nicely there.
Speer looks to score with a jab to the body but Araw is just out of range. Araw wants to slow Speer down by chopping away at his legs. Speer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Araw moves away. Speer tries to work over Araw's front leg with a kick but Araw checks it. Araw throws a push kick but Speer slaps the foot to one side. Speer blocks the body kick.
Araw misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Speer attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Speer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Araw should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Speer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Araw - the referee stops the clock and Speer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Araw. Speer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Araw takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Speer misses with a low kick. Speer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Speer scores with a nice strike. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Araw has eaten all the pies! Speer digs a good body shot into Araw's ribs. Araw looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Speer lands a really nice looking cross but Araw seems unphased.
A looping hook to the body misses from Speer. Araw does a little dance to reset his feet. Speer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Araw moves away. Speer misses with a leg kick and Araw connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Araw misses the shot to the body. Speer lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Araw falls backwards - clearly groggy! Speer dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Heinrich Speer!
