Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kojii Takashii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexis Texas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kojii Takashii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alexis Texas!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Texas avoids the body shot from Takashii.
Takashii blocks a low kick nicely.
Texas stuns Takashii with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Texas scoring well with a low kick there.
Takashii is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Texas misses with an attempted mid kick.
Texas tries to land a front kick but Takashii steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Texas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Takashii shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Texas pinned against the cage. Texas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Texas misses with a body kick.

Takashii shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Texas is trying to defend but Takashii finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Texas is trying to control but can't.
Takashii could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Texas wants to get back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Texas can do anything to dispel that myth.
Takashii is looking to advance position but Texas won't allow it.

Takashii is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Texas sees it coming and defends easily.
Texas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Takashii. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Takashii drops an elbow to the side of Texas's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Takashii looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Texas is trying to get back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Takashii maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Texas could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Takashii has cracked it and Texas is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Takashii!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kojii Takashii!
