The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock wants to clinch but Pommi slips to the side
and Pommi counters by moving into the clinch.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Pommi counters with a big head kick but Shamrock shrugs it off.

and Pommi counters with a head kick that drops Shamrock to the mat! Shamrock scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pommi lands a big right hook! Shamrock looks hurt but is still standing! Pommi lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Shamrock falls down and Pommi dives in with a huge hammer fist! Shamrock's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Pommi runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Olli Pommi!
