The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Three.
Three misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Montgomery looks for a takedown but Three sprawls well.
Montgomery swings for the body but Three moves out of range.

Three clinches with his opponent.
Three prevents a takedown attempt there.

Three jumps guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Montgomery trying to control but Three is working from the bottom.

Three pushes Montgomery off and gets back to his feet.

Three has closed the distance and engaged Montgomery in a clinch.

Three works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Three trying to control the position from guard on top but Montgomery is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Montgomery controls Three momentarily but Three frees himself.
Three slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Three won't allow Montgomery to sweep him here.
Three wants to pass the guard but Montgomery is keeping the position.
Three sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Montgomery's guard.

Three stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Montgomery to get to his feet.
Three looks for the body kick but Montgomery saw that one coming.

Three clinches up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Montgomery struggles to land a body shot inside as Three controls his hands.
Montgomery is looking to take this one to the mat.

Montgomery is trying to pull guard but Three turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Three tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Three has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Three tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Montgomery keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Three decides to pull guard.
Three pulls Montgomery in close to his closed guard and prevents Montgomery from doing any damage or advancing position.
Montgomery wants to control from the top but Three keeps moving.
Player Three has got the better of the ground game so far.
Three is looking to stand back up but Montgomery counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Three.
Three is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Montgomery scores with a couple of nice shots.

Montgomery is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Three is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Three is looking to improve his position.
Montgomery is looking to take a break and control but Three is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Three wants to sweep but Montgomery has passed to side control!
Three regains half guard.

Three kicks off Montgomery and gets to his feet.
Montgomery shoots in for a double leg but Three sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Three fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Montgomery sprawls well initially but Three persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Three connects with a nice short shot to Montgomery's temple.

Three lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Three in particular looking to stall.

Three missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Three misses with a head shot. Montgomery uses the momentum to regain guard.
Montgomery utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Montgomery can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Three controls the pace.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Three stands up and waves to Montgomery to follow him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Three feints and as Montgomery raises his hands in defense, Three changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Player Three showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Montgomery is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Montgomery is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Three pulls his head out easily.
Montgomery is looking to improve his position.
Three controlling the pace.
Three seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Montgomery is in trouble now - Three has advanced to mount!

A nice elbow there by Three.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Montgomery is bucking up trying to escape but Three cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Three landing punches.

Montgomery is rocked!
Three pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Oh Montgomery is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Three! Montgomery is hurt baaadly! Three is firing away with more strikes - Montgomery is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
