0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adib Aiman! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aiman has his takedown stuffed and Posavski counters with a shoot takedown. Aiman fights it but they end up in guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Aiman is looking to stand up but Posavski isn't so interested in that idea. Aiman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Posavski advances to half guard. Aiman is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Posavski scores with a couple of nice shots. Posavski is trying to work for a kimura but Aiman is defending well.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Posavski lands a nice short elbow. Aiman is looking to escape. Posavski seems to be looking for submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Posavski is looking to advance position but Aiman won't allow it. Posavski stalling. Posavski prevents Aiman from standing back up.
Posavski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Posavski winds up and cracks Aiman with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Aiman pushes Posavski off looking to stand but Posavski dives back in and keeps control.
Aiman looks gassed! Posavski frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Posavski working for a guillotine from mount but Aiman is in no mood to give up. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Posavski lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Aiman hang on?
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Posavski postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Aiman looks a forlorn figure.

Posavski lands a big shot there that rocks Aiman but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Posavski is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Posavski!
