1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dun Fighten! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighten closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fighten has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Ramirez moves in looking to clinch but Fighten pushes him off. A nice combination there by Fighten.
Ramirez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ramirez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ramirez lands in his opponent's guard. Ramirez gets to his feet - Fighten follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighten is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ramirez's half guard. Fighten wants to stand but Ramirez has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Fighten seems to be looking for submissions.
Ramirez is controlling Fighten's position as best he can from this difficult position.

The fighters are battling for position here. Ramirez manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Ramirez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ramirez pushes a forearm under Fighten's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fighten is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
