Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oroku Saki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Sylva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Sylva struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Adam Sylva has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Oroku Saki's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Sylva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sylva looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Saki slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Saki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Saki looks up at the clock and then as Sylva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Saki smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sylva tries to buck Saki off but Saki is having none of it.
Saki wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sylva, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sylva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Saki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Saki is looking to take a break and control but Sylva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Saki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sylva as he avoids it easily.
Sylva gets caught flat footed, as Saki shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Saki has hold of Sylva's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sylva seems comfortable defending it but Saki has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sylva is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sylva is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Saki couldn't care less - he's delighted!
