Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lee Tassen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch Hardgrove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tassen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tassen looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hardgrove is avoiding damage well.

Tassen throws an elbow but Hardgrove slips to the side and avoids it well.
Tassen misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Tassen creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hardgrove sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Tassen decides to take the fight back to the feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hardgrove tries to clinch but Tassen is having none of it.

Tassen misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The referee warns Hardgrove that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Lee Tassen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tassen wants to finish this one by submission but Hardgrove is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Tassen.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Tassen! Hardgrove is hurt baaadly! Tassen is firing away with more strikes - Hardgrove is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
