Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Promos Veiwus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen philip bailey and phil collins - easy lover as his entrance music. Willie Johnson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veiwus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Veiwus gets a clinch.
Johnson looking to stall.
Veiwus breaks from the clinch.
Veiwus has managed to clinch.
Johnson throws a punch but it's blocked by Veiwus.
Veiwus stops a takedown attempt from Johnson.
Johnson is looking to break free of the clinch but Veiwus has double underhooks.
Veiwus is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Veiwus manages to break the clinch.
Veiwus pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Veiwus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Veiwus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Promos Veiwus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Veiwus circles away from the clinch attempt
and Veiwus counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that.
Veiwus trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
Veiwus preventing the sweep.

Johnson keeping busy on the bottom but Veiwus has passed one foot through into half guard.
Johnson is trying to stand.
Johnson looks gassed!
Veiwus stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Veiwus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Veiwus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Johnson is trying to control the position but Veiwus postures up.
Johnson is wriggling around but Veiwus manages to pass to half guard.
Johnson is looking for a sweep. Veiwus is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Johnson pushes Veiwus off looking to stand but Veiwus dives back in and keeps control.
Veiwus could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Johnson trying to hold on to Veiwus's head to control him but Veiwus postures up.
Johnson is looking to escape.
Johnson kicks off Veiwus and gets to his feet.
Johnson wants to clinch
and Veiwus counters by moving into the clinch.
Veiwus gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Johnson is looking to stand up but Veiwus isn't so interested in that idea.
Johnson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Veiwus is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Johnson pushes Veiwus off and scrambles back to his feet.
Johnson lands with a slapping head kick.
Veiwus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Veiwus persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnson lands a high kick!
Johnson scores with a three punch combo!
Johnson swinging wilding here.
Johnson shoots for a takedown but Veiwus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Veiwus throws a sloppy head kick
and Johnson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Horrible takedown by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Veiwus which made him look bad.
Johnson wants to clinch but Veiwus slips to the side
and Veiwus counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Veiwus is keen to just control but Johnson is a slippery customer.
Johnson wants to control but Veiwus passes into side.
A lull in the action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Veiwus working the ground and pound from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Promos Veiwus dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Johnson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Veiwus counters by clinching up.
Johnson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Veiwus is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Johnson can't fight it off and eventually Veiwus manages to take the fight to the floor. Johnson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Veiwus drops back looking for a leg! Johnson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johnson manages to kick Veiwus off! Veiwus jumps back into Johnson's guard.
Veiwus passes Johnson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Johnson is trying to get back to full guard.
Johnson is staying active underneath Veiwus, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Veiwus is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Johnson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
