Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, DeShawn Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Helio Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Carter.
A head kick misses from Gracie.
Gracie slips a jab and a cross from Carter.
Carter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Crunch! Gracie slams his shin into Carter's torso.
Gracie clinches up against the cage.
Carter can't break the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Carter's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Gracie stalling in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Carter.
Gracie tightens his grip and picks Carter up, before dumping him to the ground. Carter manages to land in guard.
Gracie gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Carter misses with the combination.
Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Carter pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter wants to clinch but Gracie slips to the side
and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control.
Carter is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Gracie throws an elbow but Carter slips to the side and avoids it well.
Gracie sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Carter is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Carter!
Gracie trying to control but Carter is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carter wants to control but Gracie is having none of it.
Gracie with good strikes from the mount here!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carter is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action.

Gracie lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Carter is rocked!
Gracie tries to control but Carter wriggling away.
Oh Carter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carter seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Gracie unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Carter wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Gracie celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
