Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Georgi Barnettov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Slayer's choice of entrance music: ToTaL Annihalation by Annihalator. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnettov misses with a wild body shot.
Barnettov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Barnettov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Slayer counters with a left and a right that stings Barnettov.

Slayer feints and as Barnettov raises his hands in defense, Slayer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Andrew Slayer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Barnettov postures up in Slayer's guard and throws a big left but Slayer blocks it.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Slayer holds on and takes a little breather.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Slayer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Slayer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Barnettov backwards.

Barnettov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Slayer pulls his head out easily.
Barnettov tries to roll over but Slayer keeps him under control.

Andrew Slayer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Slayer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Barnettov has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Slayer. Oh but Barnettov has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Slayer goes limp - he's gone! Barnettov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
