Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Martin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Smells like Teen Spirit . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Barry Sandoval!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Martin.
Sandoval scores with a decent looking hook.
Martin scores with a shot to the body.
Martin scores with a leg kick.
Sandoval scoring well with a low kick there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sandoval at a distance.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch but Sandoval swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sandoval avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Martin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Martin checks a leg kick nicely.
Sandoval connects with an inside leg kick.
Sandoval misses with a body shot.
Martin fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sandoval cracks the inside of Martin's front leg.

and Sandoval makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Sandoval throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Sandoval counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sandoval rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Martin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sandoval chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Martin can pounce on him.
Sandoval lands a nice looking body shot.

Martin takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Sandoval lunges at Martin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Martin's hand.
Martin darts in trying to clinch
and Sandoval counters with a good, hard body kick but Martin shrugs it off.

and Sandoval counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Martin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sandoval lands an overhand right.

Sandoval sends Martin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sandoval is motioning to the referee to let Martin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Martin is rocked!
A head kick by Sandoval - that's a beauty! Martin is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Sandoval can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
