The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Blake scores with a leg kick.
Blake throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Blake misses with a looping left.
Blake looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range.
Blake throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Blake punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch.
Jones connects with a looping right hand.
Jones scoring well with a low kick there.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jones darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A clash of legs there as Jones blocks the low kick.
Jones scores with the left hand. Blake knows he should have avoided that one.

Jones lands a left and a right that sends Blake crashing to the canvas! Jones dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Rodney Blake has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Blake wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Jones celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
