Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shio Sakaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crazy Horse Ground Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shio Sakaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Crazy Horse Ground Fighter! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakaki lands with a kick to the ribs.
Sakaki closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Sakaki has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ground Fighter regains guard immediately. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Sakaki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ground Fighter is keeping the position for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sakaki trying to control the position from guard on top but Ground Fighter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sakaki is really struggling to control Ground Fighter but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Shio Sakaki wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Ground Fighter gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sakaki to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ground Fighter is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Sakaki trying to control the position from guard on top but Ground Fighter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sakaki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ground Fighter is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sakaki, into his guard. Ground Fighter stops Sakaki from standing up. Ground Fighter is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shio Sakaki has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ground Fighter throws a right hand that Sakaki ducks under and follows up with a left that Sakaki also avoids with ease. Ground Fighter gets caught napping as Sakaki dives in and scores a takedown. Ground Fighter manages to retain guard. Sakaki trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ground Fighter manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Ground Fighter is stalling in the full guard. Sakaki wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sakaki working a defensive guard here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Shio Sakaki just wasn't active enough. Ground Fighter swings for the body but Sakaki moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shio Sakaki dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ground Fighter looks for the body kick but Sakaki saw that one coming. Sakaki keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ground Fighter. Sakaki closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ground Fighter did well to prevent Sakaki getting side control. Sakaki tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ground Fighter knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sakaki missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sakaki throws a strike but Ground Fighter avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Sakaki could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ground Fighter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sakaki is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sakaki missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ground Fighter controlling the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Ground Fighter looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sakaki trying to control but Ground Fighter is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Shio Sakaki wasn't doing enough on the ground. Sakaki instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sakaki lands with a short head shot on the inside. Sakaki digs a right hand into Ground Fighter's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ground Fighter's gas tank. Ground Fighter tries to pull guard but Sakaki forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Sakaki working hard to break the clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Sakaki looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Sakaki pulls guard. Ground Fighter controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ground Fighter postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sakaki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ground Fighter's head backwards. Sakaki shoots in and gets a takedown into Ground Fighter's guard. Sakaki is fighting to break Ground Fighter's control of his arms but Ground Fighter is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Sakaki looking to pass the guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ground Fighter can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ground Fighter is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Shio Sakaki. Sakaki shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ground Fighter napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sakaki wants to stand but Ground Fighter has his arm trapped. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shio Sakaki dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Ground Fighter misses with a leg kick. Sakaki cracks Ground Fighter on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Ground Fighter falls backwards against the cage. Sakaki follows up with more strikes that drop Ground Fighter to his knees. Sakaki keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Ground Fighter! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shio Sakaki!
