0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ash Williams! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDaniel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. McDaniel lands with a nice combination. Williams backs away looking to recover. McDaniel throws out a powerful jab. Nice sprawl there from McDaniel as Williams shoots in. Williams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Williams there as he acknowledges the shot. McDaniel misses with the combination.
McDaniel misses with a hook. Williams ducked under it nicely. A bone on bone clash there as Williams blocks the leg kick.
Williams tries for a takedown but McDaniel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McDaniel darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fight moves into the clinch position. Williams lands an elbow inside that McDaniel shrugs off.
It looks like Logan McDaniel has been cut. Williams tries a body shot but McDaniel blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDaniel tries to circle away but Williams has him pinned against the cage. Williams ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Williams no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams is trying to keep McDaniel in close.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Williams lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for McDaniel! That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. McDaniel wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Williams.

Williams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McDaniel throws out the jab. McDaniel thows a left - swing and a miss! A leg kick checked by Williams. Williams tries for a takedown but McDaniel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McDaniel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Williams doesn't seem bothered though. Williams is breathing heavily. A jab from McDaniel finds it's way through Williams's defenses. McDaniel keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Williams fails with a takedown attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McDaniel thuds his right hand into Williams's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab lands there for McDaniel. McDaniel stalks Williams and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Williams's face. Williams staggers backwards, shaken. Williams moves out of range of the body kick. Logan McDaniel is winning the standup battle so far. Williams's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McDaniel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Williams scrambles back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams walks into a left hand. Williams on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Jab, jab by McDaniel - just one landing. McDaniel lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Williams can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from McDaniel and Williams drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by McDaniel.
