Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Pelaez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Slagman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pelaez comes to the cage accompanied by Never gonna give you up-Rick Astley. Frank Slagman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Pelaez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Slagman! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pelaez tries to clinch but fails miserably and Slagman counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pelaez thinking. Pelaez tries to clinch up but Slagman circles away and keeps his distance. Pelaez tries to clinch up and Slagman counters with a shoot takedown. Pelaez fights it but they end up in guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Slagman tries to free his leg and advance position but Pelaez is retaining full guard. Slagman forces his way into half guard. Slagman passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pelaez! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Slagman looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Nice work there by Pelaez and Slagman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Slagman swings around for an armbar but Pelaez sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Slagman's guard. Pelaez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slagman on the ground. Slagman working for a triangle but Pelaez defends it easily.

Pelaez would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Slagman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Slagman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pelaez trying to control the position from guard on top but Slagman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pelaez wanted to stand there but Slagman had control of the position. Slagman tries to land a sweep but no joy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Slagman trying to control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Slagman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pelaez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Slagman dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A looping hook to the body misses from Slagman. Pelaez does a little dance to reset his feet. Pelaez tries to clinch up and Slagman counters with a one-two to the body. Pelaez fails in his attempt to clinch. Pelaez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Slagman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Slagman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pelaez tries to clinch and Slagman counters with a nice body shot. Jason Pelaez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pelaez is looking to clinch but Slagman is avoiding it.
Pelaez tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Slagman counters with a shoot takedown. Pelaez fights it but they end up in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slagman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pelaez is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pelaez has escaped and now he's on top! Slagman has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pelaez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Slagman has tightened it up now! Pelaez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
