Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Janos Prohaska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bv Rasp!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prohaska swings for the body but Rasp moves out of range.
Rasp misses the jab.
Prohaska misses with an uppercut

and Rasp counters by clinching up.

Rasp jumps guard and drags Prohaska to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Prohaska lands a couple of elbows.

Rasp is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Prohaska is aware though and is defending well.

Rasp escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Prohaska gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rasp has momentary wrist control but Prohaska slips an elbow through the middle.
Rasp avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Rasp is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Prohaska defends well.

Prohaska might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Rasp working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Prohaska doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Prohaska manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rasp is on top in guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Prohaska won't allow Rasp to sweep him here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Janos Prohaska dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Prohaska throws a looping overhand right but Rasp ducks down to avoid it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rasp looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rasp shoots in and gets a takedown into Prohaska's guard.

Rasp has gone for a leg lock! Prohaska slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rasp's guard.
Prohaska lands a couple of digs.

Prohaska distracts Rasp with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Prohaska landing some decent shots from guard.
Prohaska throwing strikes but missing.

Rasp isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Prohaska stacks Rasp on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Prohaska!

Rasp takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Rasp is looking to reverse the position.
Rasp is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Prohaska's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Prohaska is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rasp is trying to maintain the position but Prohaska is very close to passing his half guard.
Prohaska is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Prohaska seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rasp is rocked!
Rasp trying to hold on to Prohaska's head to control him but Prohaska postures up.
Rasp is still in real trouble! Can Prohaska finish him?
Prohaska is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Rasp is hurt! He's hurt bad - Prohaska fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Rasp from any more punishment! Congratulations to Prohaska! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Janos Prohaska!
Janos Prohaska really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Popeye’s Spinach - 159 + 158 Proof Supps logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
