Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grandmaster Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Rizzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grandmaster Red! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pedro Rizzi! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rizzi shoots in looking for a takedown. Red tries to sprawl out of it but Rizzi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Red manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Red pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rizzi fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Horrible takedown by Rizzi or perhaps it was just good defense by Red which made him look bad. Grandmaster Red has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Rizzi. Rizzi shoots in for a double leg but Red sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rizzi tries to clinch up. Red displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rizzi. A clash of legs there as Rizzi blocks the low kick. Red gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rizzi to score an easy takedown into full guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Red managing to control the position. Red's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Red on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Red tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Red looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rizzi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rizzi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rizzi stopping the sweep attempt from Red. Red managing to control the position. Rizzi with a flurry of punches that miss. Red controlling the position. Red wants to improve his position but instead Rizzi has moved into half guard.
Red has his hands clasped together around Rizzi's back. He's all about the action. Rizzi is keen to just control but Red is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Red is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Red trying to control from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Grandmaster Red wasn't doing enough on the ground. Red throws a lazy right hand but Rizzi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rizzi is defended easily by Red. Red tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rizzi was well out of range. Poor timing from Red. Red ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Rizzi moves away from the strike by Red. Rizzi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Red lands a left and a right that send Rizzi crashing to the mat, dazed. Red thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Red stuns Rizzi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Rizzi looks gassed! Rizzi shoots in for a double leg but Red sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Red lands a jab to Rizzi's midsection. Red tries to land a leg kick but Rizzi saw it coming and moves away.
Red is looking to slow Rizzi down with leg kicks. Red stuns Rizzi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Red is looking to wear down Rizzi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Red, as that shot connected.
Red lands a left and a right that send Rizzi crashing to the mat, dazed. Red thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Rizzi is rocked! Rizzi walks straight into a right hand from Red - that's dropped him! Red jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rizzi from any more punishment! Rizzi complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Grandmaster Red!
