Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Black! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Carter! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter scores with a takedown into Black's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Black holds on and takes a little breather. Carteris looking to pass into half guard but Black pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Black is in guard. Carter controlling Black's posture. Black decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Carter, up you get! Black avoids a punch combination nicely.
Carter gets a takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Black tries to kick Carter off but Carter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Black makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Black. Carter postures up and lands a big shot to Black's brow. Black is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Black trying to control the action but Carter is working from the bottom. Black frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Carter is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Black trying to control but Carter is having none of it. Carter wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Black.
Black wants to control the pace but Carter is squirming around nicely. Carter tries to hold on but Black postures up. Black wants to control the pace but Carter is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter trying desperately to get to his feet.
Carter manages to control the position for a moment. Black can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Carter is looking to escape. Carter tries to lock up and control but Black gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Carter really wants to buck Black off and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Black punching from mount but Carter doing a good job of avoiding damage. Black tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Black throwing strikes here but Carter is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Black avoids the attempt from Carter to control. Carter is squirming around, avoiding Black's attempts to control the action. Carter tries to lock up and control but Black gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Black throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Black dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Carter shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Black is trying to defend but Carter finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Black regains full guard. Nicely done. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Black is on top in guard.
Black pushes down on Carter's leg and manages to get into half guard. Black moves nicely into side control. Black tries for a kimura but Carter is defending well. Black just content to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The strikes coming from Black are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Black tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Black is looking to take a break and control but Carter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Carter is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Black asserts his dominance and retains side control. Black really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter is trying to improve his position. Black tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Black has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Carter is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Black working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Black working away. Black trying to control the position but Carter is working away. Black working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Carter is looking to reverse the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carter can do anything to dispel that myth. Carter is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Black asserts his dominance and retains side control. Black wants to control but Carter is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Black trying to control the position but Carter is working away. A control attempt from Carter but he's now mounted! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Black dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Carter misses with a two punch combination.
Black fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Black gets caught napping as Carter dives in and scores a takedown. Black manages to retain guard. Carter throws a big right hand that misses. Carter won't allow Black to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Black works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Black manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Carter manages to get himself to full guard.
Carter pulls Black in close to prevent any damage. Black prevents Carter from getting back to his feet. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Black here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Carter is wriggling around but Black manages to pass to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Black seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Carter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Black is trying to work for a kimura but Carter is defending well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Carter is looking to improve his position.
Carter wants to control but Black is keeping busy.
Carter keeping hold of Black's head, controlling as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Black throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Black stops Carter from getting back to his feet.
Black is working for a submission of some sort.
Carter kicks off Black and gets to his feet. Black misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Carter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Black pinned against the cage. Black gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Carter swats away the attempt to clinch by Black. Carter throws a body punch but Black moves out of range. Carter shoots in and drives through. Black sprawls well. Carter takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Carter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Black sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carter somewhat. Ryan Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Carter. Carter dives in and scores a takedown into Black's guard. Black controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter throws a big elbow that misses. Carter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Black is trying to keep Carter in close.
Carter lands a couple of elbows. Ryan Black overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Carter connects with a couple of short punches. Black trying to keep a closed guard but Carter is proving a slippery customer.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ryan Black has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Carter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Black sees it coming and avoids it easily. Carter swats away the attempt to clinch by Black.
And that's the end of the fight! Andre Carter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Black has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
